How incentive is earned
Two parameters, calculated separately and then added. Both are shown to the
salesperson as two distinct figures so nobody has to guess where the money came from.
A Sales above target
The annual target is what the salary covers. Everything sold beyond it
earns on this rate.

Each segment carries a minimum GP that belongs to the company. Anything
earned above that minimum is shared on this rate.

Companies
Every sale is booked against one company.
Product segments
Each segment carries its own minimum GP. Only the GP above it earns incentive.

The employee code below is just an optional reference number — it no longer works
as a password. To let someone sign in, create their login further down in Users & Logins and
link it to their name here. Click Targets to set that person's segment-wise plan.
Targets
Enter the annual target against each segment. Adjust the quarterly split below
if the year is seasonal. The monthly target is one third of the quarter.
Users & Logins
Create a username and password for each person. Management and Accounts logins see the
shared data as before; a Sales login only ever receives that one person's own numbers from the server
— not the whole team's.
Accounts team. GP is not typed in — enter the costs and the GP calculates itself.
The same working is visible to the salesperson, so the figure can be questioned line by line
instead of disputed as a whole.
Sales & GP working
Record a sale only once the payment has been realised. Sales value excludes GST.
